
Soilless culture is a modern seedling technique which uses peat or forest humus soil, vermiculite and other lightweight materials for fixing plant seedling and let the plant root to contact nutrition liquid and uses precision cultivation. The seedling tray is divided into compartment, and each seed occupies one compartment. Each seedling occupies one compartment and the roots are intertwined with the substrate to form a plug shape root system. And therefore, it is usually called plug hole soilless culture.
